To gain the Chief Scout's Silver Award, a Cub Scout needs to complete all the Challenges Awards (except for the optional Outdoor Plus Challenge). These Challenge Badges can be attempted by a Cub Scout on their own, by a small group or by the whole Pack. You should aim for a Cub Scout to complete a Challenge Badge over a two to four month period.
