The Uniform at Mytholmroyd

Dark footwear (without stripes down the side etc.) otherwise black shoes

Scout Activity Trousers, not shorts or three quarter pants Cub Scout Sweatshirt

Neckerchief and Woggle (these are supplied by the Group in the investiture pack)

(Please note only Scout Association approved uniform is acceptable)

The standard of the uniform at Mytholmroyd Cub Pack is set high because we pride ourselves along with our young people. We hope that this is one of the reasons why you have chosen for your child to be a member of Mytholmroyd Scout Group.
When our cubs attend any event, be it either a pack night or a competition etc, unless told otherwise please assume full correct uniform. The only exceptions to this are the two litter picks which we attend every year (these litter picks are on the Sundays following Mytholmroyd Gala and Hebden Bridge Bonfire).
Please do not rush out immediately to buy this uniform. We suggest you wait a few weeks to see how your child settles with us. If your child has been a Beaver, please send them in their Beaver Uniform, for this period in time.
We will require them to be in full uniform for their investiture which usually takes place about 6 + weeks after joining the Cub Pack.
As you can probably imagine with 24 sets of uniform it is very important that every item of uniform is labelled with your child's name. So if any item does go astray such as on camp it can be later identified.
