Joining the Pack
Subscriptions
There is no need to adjust your Standing Order. The subscription rate for the
Cub Pack is the same as for the Beaver Colony. The quarterly payment dates being
1st January, 1st April, 1st July and 1st October.
The gift aid form set up for Beavers will still be used for Cub subscriptions.
If for any reason you find you are no longer a tax payer in any year please notify
the subscription secretary.
Powerpacks
When your Cub is invested in the Cub Pack, they will be supplied with a Powerpack.
The Powerpack needs bringing to Cubs every week. This is our means of communication
with you. Should there be a change of time to Pack Meetings, details of visits etc,
these will all be notified to you by letter. If your Cub brings the Powerpack on a
regular basis these letters should be in there. Please ensure that only current items
are kept in the Powerpack.
Commitment
Mytholmroyd Cub Pack is not affiliated to any Church, so there are not regular
Church parades. However we do expect a firm commitment from all our Cubs to be present
at the two parades/events and two litter picks which we do annually. These are regular
events and are held at around the same time every year, so should not be forgotten.

around the time. Full correct uniform required.

| Remembrance Sunday |
Held around the 11th November - Mytholmroyd.On Parade.
Full correct uniform required.
This is the only time that all the Mytholmroyd Scout Group (Cubs, Scouts, Explorer Scouts)
are on show together in their own community.

Litter Picks
| Mytholmroyd Gala |
Held around 8-10 July. The entire Scout group with as many parents and other helpers
as possible. The more hands the better! Meet on Gala field at 9-30 Sunday after Gala.

| Hebden Bridge Bonfire |
Held around 5th November. All Cubs, Scouts, Explorer Scouts with as many parents
and other helpers as possible. Once again the more hands the better! Meet on Calder
Holmes Park at 9-00 Sunday after Bonfire. Non uniform event. |
