Weekly Attendance
Pack Night Times
Unless notified of a change of time, our pack night starts at 6.30 prompt and
finishes at 8.00. In return we do endeavour to finish on time. Sometimes this is
not possible say for instance where we have gone out on a trip and due to traffic we
are held up. In a case such as this we hope you will appreciate that your child's
safety is always put first.
Dropping off and Collecting
As part of our commitment to you as parents, in ensuring the safe keeping of your
child whilst at cubs, please support us by keeping us informed of any changes in the
routine collection of your child. For example change of person collecting after a
pack meeting, particularly if this person is unknown to us.
As a Cub Pack we do not always meet in the Scout room. There are pack nights when
other arrangements are made. It is your responsibility to always make sure that one
of the Leaders is at the Scout room before dropping off and leaving your Cub.
All cubs should be collected from within the room particularly during the dark evenings.
All cubs are made aware that they should not leave the room unless their parents can
be seen in the entrance. Please re-enforce this with them.
Coats
All Cubs should bring their coat every week. The dark or wet weather does not
stop us going out on a Pack Night. To ensure your Cub does not get wet please get
them into the habit of bringing their coat.
Attendance and Badges
We do ask that all Cubs attend Pack nights on a regular basis, and ideally we
would like to see them at all our camps and pack holidays. We do incorporate a lot
of badge work into the pack nights and camps and for them to progress attendance is
important. Badge work may run over several weeks, and if they miss one of the weeks
this means they are unable to pass the badge, unless they see Bagheera to find out
what was missed and complete this item at home.
